  • 2 cups Soya Chunks
  • 4 tbsp Rice Flour
  • 1 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 inch Ginger
  • 4 pods Garlic
  • 1 Green Chilli
  • 1 tbsp Green Coriander Leaves
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil to deep fry
  • Water as needed
  • 1 cup Milk


  1. Boil 4 cups of water and 1 cup of milk on full flame.
  2. Soak the soya chunks in it. Shut off the flame and cover with a lid.
  3. Let them soak for about 30 minutes. Now, drain the water and squeeze the chunks to remove as much water as possible.

  4. Again, wash soya chunks in running water 2 to 3 times. Each time, squeeze out the water.

  5. Take the soya chunks in a mixer jar and grind coarsely.

  6. Add the salt, red chilli powder, garam masala powder, ginger piece, garlic pods, green chilli, coriander leaves and the rice flour.
  7. Mix for a few seconds, once or twice and remove in a bowl.
  8. Make small balls of this mixture.

  9. Heat oil in a thick bottom pan on high heat. Then lower the heat and deep fry all the balls.
  10. Serve hot.
